Is the mother of your Hiram Seth Scott one Persis Latham Scott? Persis Latham married Isaac Scott b 2-22-1797 in Mass. on 8-21-1819. Their daughter, Sarah b 1826 married William Henry Pickett in 1842 in Kt. Sarah's sister, Philena b 1822 in New York state, married Justus R. Arms in Indianna in 1839. Philena's obit states she was a memeber of the Free Will Baptist Church. Steve, are we working on the same family? I am not of Scott blood line, Scott's married into my blood line TWICE.
