    1. Re: [WIGRANT] Fountain Taylor: 1860 Census, Grant County
    2. Dear Dave, *Thank you* so much. This morning I heard from a Fontain Taylor family member who showed me that my Elizabeth Taylor was not *her* (Sarah) Elizabeth Taylor. She also told me that it would be a good idea to get my Elizabeth Taylor Winney's birth certificate--but I have had nothing but grief in trying to obtain Vital Records from the state of Wisconsin! Is there a secret?! My Elizabeth Taylor (I am eliminating the "Sarah" for now as I've gotten some wrong information and went down that long, lonely trail.) What *I* have *on paper* is my GGrandmother Anna Elizabeth Winney being the daughter of William Henry Winney and Elizabeth Taylor; Anna Elizabeth's father appearing remarried to Mary L. Hickock in the Census of 1880 and verification of that remarriage and the identity of Anna Elizabeth in William Henry Winney's will. These are the things that I know...with verification.) If you are not yet sick of me, I would love to hear what your ideas are. (I am not a member of ancestry.com and I can only get to the LDS FHC about once a year as I have to rely on others for transportation.) Many, many thanks for your gracious help. Kathleen
