Hi Dick, I think you misunderstood my comment. Does Liberty still exist? I know the township does. I understand that these are more or less permanent, but the does the town itself still exist? Stitzer was never a township as far as I know. It has always been within Liberty Township. According to mom, Stitzer is not much different in size now from when she was a little girl. Although, according to my aunt Linda Watchorn who lives there, Stitzer used to have more businesses than it does now.
