Dear Jerrald, In researching this line Barbara Lazer is a new name. Previously I was told that Amelia Thomas' maiden name was Maurer...Amelia was my husband's great grandmother. What would you suggest? In looking up Lazer there were only 28 in the US in 1880...I can't find immigration stats...Thank you so much for your interest.
