    3. If you look a little further on the Dubuque TH site, they have obituaries that go back much further than that. You have to fill out a form and mail it to them and the cost is I believe $7.00 per copy. I have used this service and was somewhat pleased with the results. The copy wasn't real crisp and clear, but I think they were trying to give me only what I asked for and no other information that may have been on the same page. You can search the site first to see if the obit you are seeking is listed. It will give you a name, date of death and a little more information so that you can be sure of the results. I found the site. It is at http://www.thonline.com/obitquerylast.htm these records go back to 1972. The search will give you last name, first name, age, date of publication, date of death, city, page and notes. Hope this helps some.
