why pay someone to research military records, when if they are available you can order them directly, or get a copy on microfilm? Nara maintains federal records and if they are anywhere they would have them. Generally speaking finding them elsewhere is really hit and miss, but possible. There are several Military institutes which have archived records found nowhere else, ( like Carmichael Barracks for NY). Jeff
