I am researching the BERTRAND surname, more specifically, Theodore BERTRAND and his wife Kathryn KELNHOFER. Theodore was born 12 April 1882 in Walhain, Kewaunee Co., WI. He died 2 June 1921 at Lancaster Hospital in Grant County. Theodore and his wife apparently worked at cheese factories there, it is presumed that they went to Grant County somewhere around the turn of the century.
