Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/lEC.2ACE/415 Message Board Post: I hope that this won't be too long but I will get on with what I need to say. My gg grandfather was James Jones who was born in 1792 in Pennsylvania. He may have been married more than once, but the only wife I know of was Polly something or other born in 1825 or thereabouts in Indiana. They somewhere along the line hitched them some horses to a wagon and headed on for Wisconsin, Platteville that is. There they had some children, that go by the names of Clarinda (1836) George Washington (July 11 1842 to December 23 1917 Hulett Wyoming (he passed away there) Elnora she was born in 1846, after her came Thomas J and that could stand for Thomas Jefferson (1848) and last of all James Knox (February 15 1849 to January 2 1927. He is buried in Westfield Wisconsin. I do know that George once was married to a woman by the name of Eliza Liscom. Together they had a total of ten children the last one dying at a very tender age, perhaps in infancy. Her name was Onona Pearl. I ! am not sure of the year but Eliza came in contact with the measles and she died shortly after she gave birth to Onona. George after her death, just up and left his other nine kids. I need to know more about the Jones family of Platteville Wisconsin. James by the way is my g grandfather. He had up to 11 or 12 kids.
