Does anyone know if deaths were required to be recorded in Wisconsin between 1885 and 1900? I am looking for Mary A Haney maiden name Shields who was married to John Walker Haney of Grant Co. He was widowed as of the 1900 census and the last child that I can find was born about 1885. I have tried Family search and Ancestry as well as Grant Co sites with no luck.
