BEAN/BEAM wife Eliza MILLER (except for John see note below) were parents of Julia BEAN who married William B. MORSE 15 Nov 1887 (Vol 10, p. 433) Mary D. BEAN who married John DRINKWATER 13 Dec 1883 (Vol 10, p. 296) Susan I. BEAN who married Albert H. VANVALKENBURGH 28 Oct 1875 (Vol 7, p. 36) John E. BEAN who married Mattie TYLER 30 Jul 1890 (Vol 11, p. 146) Maud Estella BEAN who married James Madison PARKER 5 Sep 1888 (Vol 11, p. 24) Note that the mother of John E. BEAN is noted as Eliza BRAND As to the deaths of Stephen and Eliza BEAN I checked the Index to Deaths in Grant County, Earliest to 1914 and did not find any entries for them. You may want to check with Mrs. Gilbert Jentz, 955 Williams St., Platteville, WI, 53818. She has the cemetery records collected by the Grant County Genealogical Society and for $3.00 she will copy all cards with the BEAN surname for you.
