Robson, born 1878, was the daughter of Thomas Temple and Elizabeth Bainbridge Robson. Thomas Temple Robson, born 1843 Middleton in Teesdale, Durham England, was the son of William and Hannah Temple Robson. This Robson branch also resided in the Lafayette and Grant county areas of Wisconsin beginning in the late 1840's, with the males of the line being mainly miners. I have a Thomas Robson, born September 7, 1822, spouse of Mary Ann Bewick, listed as the son of James (born about 1797) and Elizabeth unknown, born 1797. Elizabeth, Thomas, and additional children named Rueben (sp. Rosa), James (Mary Ann Hird/Hurd) Ann (John Dawson), and William were residing in Benton, Lafayette county, WI in 1850, but no James Sr. I have been trying to connect William and Hannah Temple Robson to the Robson branch above, (later connected to the Metcalf line through Thomas' son William), but no luck so far.
