The information was from the researcher on Jonas Stevens. I got to thinking about the death date also. Perhaps it is a typo, seeing as Adelphia died May 14, 1901. If you could locate an obit or death record for her it might clarify if May 01 is the last heard about Ernest. Adelphia remarried to Henry S. Benway in Oct 1865, so you should be able to locate them in the 1870 census. She also was supposedly married to a Nelson A. Clark, I have no date so am unsure if he is husband #1 or #3 Her death record would be in Rock County, WI Henry Stevens, father of Hiram and Eliakum was born to Roger Stevens and Esther Snow. Henry was also married three times: Catherine Cole--no dates Hannah Jones --abt 1823 died Caroline A. Thatcher Sept 14, 1847, marriage preformed by Lorenzo Whipple, Minister of the Gospel. Book A page 12, License # 490 issued 11 Sept 1847 McHenry County, Illinois As I said before, I have not worked on documenting this branch as of yet.
