I need to have some snail mail addresses if anyone has them. I applied for the Pioneer certificate, but I need a few more facts. What I need is where to write to ask when my 2nd gr grandmother, ELizabeth (Van Tuyl) TAYLOR,bought property in Bloomington. I have the description of the property, The probate states that she owned.... Lot five (5) and west part of lot four (4) in Block three (3) Village of Bloomington, Grant Co., WI. Is there someplace I can write to find the date of her purchase of this property? Also is there a record of the purchase of cemetery plots in the Dodge Cemetery.? I'm sure she bought the plot where she and her son, Alexander are buried, plus a baby grandson, Jabez WILSEY, JR. Born Jan 1853- died Sep 1853. The Wilsey's later bought 7 plots in the Glen Haven cemetery, which there is no record of anyone being buried there, but the purchase date of the Dodge Cemetery lots would prove that Elizabeth TAYLOR was in Bloomington at least in Sept 1853, if not earlier.
