    3. Hello List, I'm going to be coming home to Grant County for about a week (I leave either Friday or Saturday) and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some "not to miss" genealogy sites. I've already heard about the Karrmann <sp?> Library, but don't have the message saying exactly where it is. Is there any point (other than the court house) to going to Lancaster? I'm hoping to spend some time on my Hampton, Hutchcroft, Eversoll, Gates, Dudley, Porter and a little bit on Clauer lines. It sounds like a lot, but I just need to get some better jumping off points for most of these and there are a few unanswered questions/updates on the others. Does LaVon Hall read this list? Or Kathleen Wolfe? If so, I need to get in touch with you when I'm back there. I'll be camping in my RV and bringing most of my books and my laptop with my database, so I'm also looking for camping sites. Thanks for any help you can give me on such short notice. 3. I've only been able to find the death records and obits of my great grandparents Wencil and Mary DVORAK.....and the death record and obit of their son Joseph......I'm hardly getting anywhere now.....i know my grandpa's story but don't have his birth record or his brothers Vandy or Frank......only thing I have on Vandy or Frank is a photo of Frank's gravesite and a mention in Vencil's obit that Vandy was one of the surviving sons at that time living in Janesville.....when his mother died, Vandy is not listed as one of the surviving sons....so I'm assuming he died between the years of 1927 and 1931......but there is nothing on him......Lancaster is where the courthouse is in Grant County, I'm sure of that ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael Hampton To: WIGRANT-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 12:59 PM Subject: [WIGRANT] Short visit to Grant County Hello List, I'm going to be coming home to Grant County for about a week (I leave either Friday or Saturday) and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some "not to miss" genealogy sites.
