    1. [WIGRANT] MEIGHAN or MEIGHEY - Which one?
    2. Hi all, Is anyone aware of how this Grant County surname is most accepted to be spelled? In the quoted portion of the bio below, it states that Alex McPherson married Henrietta MEIGHEY. I find, from GRANT COUNTY, WISCONSIN BIRTH RECORDS - EARLIEST TO 1891 ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/wi/grant/vitals/births/to1891/birthmo.txt (thanks again, Dave), the eight listed children are born to Alexander McPHERSON & Henrietta MEIGHAN. Which way? TIA! Di -- << Commemorative Biographical Record of the Counties of Rock, Green, Grant, Iowa and Lafayette, Wisconsin, 1901, J. H. Beers & Co., Chicago, Pg. 571-2: MRS. MARY J.
