I do know about Giovanni Sperandeo and Elsie L. Carl. The story as I found it in a University newspaper was that Giovanni was on campus to give a concert and his pianist was Elsie. They fell in love and were married. I did not know where they resided but do know that they are buried in Greenwood Cemetery Platteville, Wisconsin. If you are researching the Carl family let me know as I can get you back many generations into Germany and Switzerland.
