The reunion of the descendants of Ludwig Carl JULIUS are holding a family reunion on July 27, 2002, in the Spearfish, SD City park. Ludwing, his wife and 5 children came to this country circa 1850 from Darmstadt, Germany and settled in the Liberty/Stitzer area. My GGrandfather, Henry and his wife moved to Iowa sometime in the 1880s. Any other descendants that would like to attend would be more than welcome. His children were: Louis C., Sophia JULIUS Ottemeier, Henry, and Catherine (Katherine) JULIUS Blackburn. This will be a potluck with coffee, iced tea and kool aid provided.
