    3. I'm sending this to Judy and the list. Jamestown, Grant Co. was both a Post Office/Village as was as a Township. Another town/village in Jamestown Twp. was Fair Play. According to the 1881 Grant Co. history, in 1850 people began building between Section 1 and 10 in Jamestown Township and it was called South Jamestown or "Puckerville." Apparently Jamestown village was also known as Centerville at one time prior to 1850. Hope this helps you out.
