Hi Group: Which (1835-1900; & pre 1907) Grant County, WI marriage index(es) list parents of couples, when known? Or are these only available in original records and marriage books? I'm debating whether to send for records, pending enlightenment on this, as I'm not sure the originals will help at all. Time to purchase some GCGS items. Also: If memory serves, Henry RISTER and Ann KITTOE's marriage (1856) is listed differently on some indexes, where his name may be spelled "Ristler" or "Risther." I may be referencing a web site, not knowing if this is just a human error/typo or if he's listed that way in the actual index. Can anyone help straighten me out? TIA!
