I am trying to trace my gg-grandfather, Conrad Kaltenbach, of Grant Co., Potosi, WI. He had a brother Celestin Kaltenbach who was extremely prominent in the town in the 1850's and 70's. They had a brother, Peter, who was drowned in a Potosi flood in 1862. There is no mention of Conrad in any records/books I can find. I would like to know if anyone has ever run across any mention of poor Conrad. Conrad was married to Catherine Dowling in 1851. They had nine children. Margaretha Kaltenbach (my great grandmother) married a James McGirk in Potosi in 1885. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Barbara Las Vegas, NV
