Weins having 40 acres in the NW corner of Section 34, South Lancaster Township with another 40 acres immediately to the north in the SW corner of Section 27 of same township. Location wise the farm was roughly 2 1/2 miles to east of Hurricane and roughly 3 1/2 miles south of City of Lancaster. There is an 80 acre farm shown in Section 33 as belonging to a Jno. Flesch. It is interesting to note that there is only one farm separating the Flesch and Weins farms that farm is listed as owned by Samuel Walker who happens to be a brother of my ggg grandmother, Jane Walker.
