    3. Barb, this isn't an obit, but thought you might be interested in having it. The same or similar item appeared in several WI newspapers on Jan 18. One of them specifies that Burr was the son of Oscar ALLISON. Oshkosh Daily Northwestern Oshkosh, WI 18 Jan 1954, page 17 Burr ALLISON, 17, rural Stitzer, was killed Sunday night when his car went out of control and overturned on Highway 81 between Lancaster and Platteville. Three teen-age companions in the car were uninjured. I am hoping you can tell me where the Harris & Wepking Funeral Home would have been located in Grant County in 1954?     3. My husband tells me that there was a Wepking Funeral Home in Lancaster at least until 1990 (not sure if it's still in business). Also, not sure if it was the Harris & Wepking Funeral Home that Barb is asking about in 1954 - however, it might be a lead.
