He immigrated to the U.S. around 1848/49. According to census information he lived with his wife Eliza A. (born 1843) in Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin from 1900-1920. In the 1900 census, he had two children still living with him: a son Albert, born abt. 1884, and daughter Margaret, born abt. 1872. Any information on this family is appreciated.
