    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Weins, Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lEC.2ACE/1065.1.1.2.1 Message Board Post: Anne-Marie Weins Adams was an Aunt of the mentioned Peter Weins [1862-1937]. I have seen her name listed as Anna-Maria. Her older brother, Nickolas Weins [1828, Luxembourg-June 01,1863, Potosi, Grant County, Wisconsin]. was Peter Weins' father. Nickolas Weins died of a snake bite, when Peter was a baby. Anne-Marie and Nickalos Weins were the only children, that I have located of Michael Weins [dates and locations unknown] and Anna Margaret Stark Weins [May 17, 1810, Luxembourg-July 31, 1891, Lancaster, Wisconsin]. I have no proof Michael Weins was ever in the USA or any other information about him. He is not buried with Anna Margaret Stark Weins in Pigeon Creek Cemetery, near Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin, on the Matthias Heinrichs farm. Peter's Mother, Gertrude Adams Weins [February 02, 1832, Koblenz, Rheinland, Germany-May 03, 1903, Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin] married John Flesch Junior, after Nickolas Weins' death some time around 1864. 'Nickolas' is spelled differently in every piece of information that I have. I have more Weins information but it would be too long to post all of it here. May I contact by e-mail? It will take some time to assemble the information.

    3. I too am looking for people in Grant County. Christian (C.F.) Brestel moved there in about 1857 and left for Jo Daviess about 1870. Is he possibly in the book? Or his brother Wilhelm, (William) who joined up with the Wisc inf.? Any help would be appreciated. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 8:39 PM Subject: [WIGRANT] Re: Grant County plat book 1885-1898 > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Weins, > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lEC.2ACE/1065.1.1.2.1 > > Message Board Post: > > Anne-Marie Weins Adams was an Aunt of the mentioned Peter Weins [1862-1937].
