Yes ! She moved there in the 1920's ! My grandfather was born in Los Angeles......I found his birth record, which is how I found out her maiden name of Eastman. I'm following up on your suggestion of looking up a marriage record. I put in a request in L.A. county for her marriage certificate, hopefully it will give me something concrete to tie her to Gurley......there are so many coincidences I've found, I'm almost sure she is Gurley's daughter, but I just need to find that one thing that will let me know for sure !!!
