LANCASTER LEWIS GELBACH, farmer, Sec. 30; P. O. Hurricane Grove. Owns 180 acres of land, valued at $40 per acre. Born in Prussia in 1833. Came to America in 1846, and settled in Pennsylvania; came to Wisconsin in 1857, and located in Lancaster where he lived until 1869, when he removed to this farm. He married Sophia Napp, a native of the same place, and they have eight children - John, Charles, William, George, Mary, Nettie, Frederick and Ida. [I am not related to this family.
