LANCASTER LEWIS A. BEISTHAUPT, farmer, Secs. 27 and 34; P. O. Lancaster; he is a native of Ohio; came to Grant Co. in 1860; he enlisted in August, 1862, in Co. C, 25th W. V. I., and served until the close of the war. He was married, Oct. 11, 1859, to Miss Martha A. Strong; they have five sons and a daughter. The family are members of the Congregational Church.
