Just to let you all know, I am working on transcribing all of the biographies in this book - 163 pages of them. So, I just ask that you would all hold your questions until I get to that city/area. If I take the time to answer all of you that are anxious, I don't have as much time to do the actual transcribing. I am also sending all of these biographies to Robin to be posted on the Grant Co., WIGenWeb site, so they will also be there. Robin has already received the index that I've just completed on the whole book, so hopefully that will be posted soon, too. (And hopefully some of the other owners of the book will be prepared to answer the inquiries that will be generated from the index!) This is a very fascinating book about Grant County and the history of the whole region, really. The State Historical Society has said that they will be scanning all the county histories of this era and formatting those scans for the internet, so soon you will all be able to do your own look-ups using the index and scanned book. I do hope that this work will help you in your research! Roxanne -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
