I have a JAMES ELLIS that married LYDIA TOWNSEND 27 Mar 1859 in Grant County, WI. Lydia Townsend was a daughter to my GGGrandfather, LYSANDER A. TOWNSEND, and a sister to my GGrandfather, MARK W. TOWNSEND. Would this James Ellis be any relation to your Washington Ellis?
