Alyse, you say you show ALL of Grant Co.? I would love to know or find out where I can get a copy of that? would the gen society have it? I want to know where Susannah Powell's land was. as I understand her land is now part of the the town of Boscobel. she was not showing a husband in 1850 BUT in 1847 she had purchase 120 acres in Grant co, she is buried in the Boscobel cem. some of her land went to her son John Powell, he died in the war, it then went to his widow Luzena Bates Powell & her daughter Susannah Powell. confusing huh? she also either sold some to her son John &Luzena before he left for the war........Jo Ann Loghry in beautiful downtown Arkansas. dripping wet too for the humidity.......
