I am a desendent of Phebe Pritchard Curtis's sister Abigal Pritchard Blakeslee. This information in the Grant County book has caused some problems. The Hotchkiss ancestor did not come over on the Mayflower! Samual Hotchkiss b 1622 in England, died 1663 in Ct., arrived on the "Hector" in 1638. I belong to the Hotchkiss Family Assoc. If you work in genealogy, you know family stories handed down are hard to prove and or disprove. But I love the search. What family lines are you working on?
