When I asked to see the original record they looked and said that there was none. The wife's maiden name is in question. Her descendant thinks it should be Fairbanks. Only one of the various records at the court house show the father's name as Fairbanks. The rest are left blank or "unknown" written in. It seems strange that with the person right there supplying info for a marriage record, etc. there are no parents' names given.
