I hope someone will know more than I do for I am lost again in my searches. I have posted to this list several times with no luck. I am still searching for my "Ole Susannah Powell" but I am also in search of her grand daughter who I thought had married a man by the surname Cave. I was told the iformation I had found was for a Mahala Taylor, that even if the info I had that sent me on my way to her was all wrong. I might be. but in 1850 this girl is 3 yrs old with her grandmother Susannah Powell in Boscobel. she is 13 in 1860 & still with Susannah Powell. Susannah dies in 1866, her will states she is a niece to her son John as in HIS will he leaves whatever is in his to go in part to this girl. in 1870 she is gone. I found a Mahala Taylor in the Apostle Islands BUT I do not recall what it was or what year. my belief was that she had gone to oregon with her husband,David Montague Cave. but I was told I was wrong. might someone be able to look & see IF she might have married th! ere in the hopes her parents are listed? I know no one has any information on "ole Susannah"I have her last will & testament, & some papers on the land scandal her son John had there. some of it is listed in the paper "the Bad axe" & the Boscobel Dial. if anyone has any information on any of this stuff or if I have confused anyone in the manner I have all this written I will be happy to go over it again.......thank you all for bearing with me for all these years...........Jo Ann Loghry in AR.............
