The man in the story is Tiny Belz, who overdrank one day last week and was removed to the jail at Lancaster. Tiny's black mongrel pup went along, demanding admission to the quarters with his master. Denied this, the dog parked at the jail door and raised dismal howls the while. Finally Sheriff Joe Greer, noted for his sternness, gave in and allowed the pup to visit Tiny
