    1. Unknown photos from Highland, Milwaukee, La Crosse, WI
    2. OK here are the labels on some of the photos that I have acquired. If anybody is interested. Two of those have no label, So I do not know what studio they were produced at. (8 photos in all, but I know who the people are in one photo) One photo is handwritten "Myers" on the lower left. It has 116 South Fourth St. and La Crosse WIS, written from the middle to the right lower photo. The Myers is plainly handwritten, no doubt about it, so they must be of the Myers family, husband and wife is my guess. Three photos have "Cross and Son" written either vertically on the side, or on the bottom, two photos oriented horizontally, and one is vertical. One photo looks like "I L Middleton or J L Middleton, Highland WIS" with what I believe to be some married couple. Husband is seated, wife is standing with hand on his shoulder. The last photo has two Catholic nuns with hand on a small table with a fairly large crucifix on it and a table cloth over the table, which reads at the bottom: "The Voigt CO., 450 National Ave, MILWAUKEE" So if anybody ELSE would like a copy of each of these photos done around the time of 1913 or so, please let me know. I'd be glad to email them to you. Email me privately so I know you are corresponding to me when you write about them. John in Michigan

    2. Ron Klein
    3. I am resending this to the list, as I don't believe it was distributed on to suscribers. If it is, in fact, a duplicate, I apologize for any extra time anybody might have to spend. But, I do want to be sure it goes out. I am trying to find out about available church records and cemetery records at the Liberty Ridge Church which I believe to be south of Fennimore, northeast of Lancaster. I believe my g-g-grandparents Adam & Christine Becker Jungbluth may have attended there while they lived in Liberty Township 1868 to 1881. My g-grandparents, George & Caroline Jungbluth Klein may have been married at the church in October of 1881, although their marriage certificate simply says "Liberty Township, Grant County, WI". I do know the Jungbluths lived not too far from there in Liberty Township. I found a phone number of (608) 723-2471 for the Liberty Ridge Church at 10560 Liberty Ridge Rd, Lancaster, WI. But, it always seems to ring busy as if it might be out of order. Does anybody have any alternate suggestons on how to contact someone associated with this very old church who might be able to tell me about records of marriages, membership, etc? Thanks. Ron Klein

    1. To the person who was asking if I had relatives in La Crosse
    2. Hello out there. To the person who was inquiring whether I had relatives in La Crosse. I have a newer old photo that I have acquired that has this information on it. I do not know what it means, but I have found the address in the directory online and it is pointing to what is today, a music store that sells musical instruments and the like. The prior institution was a photographic studio at 114 South Fourth St. La Crosse, WI. There are 2 what look like married people on the photo, but I do not know who they are. This one and others were found in a grocery bag full of old photos. The handwritten surname on the lower left reads "MYERS". If this might be someone's family. Let me know, there might be a connection of some sort between your and my family. It seems to be from a grouping of photos, one of which is my grandfather, and two brothers of his, one of which, Joseph JOhn DVORAK, was married on this day in 1913. So I believe the other photos to be around this year! of 1913 as well. Let me know personally if you want me to send you copies of these photos. There are about 7 total. excluding the one with my grandfather and two of his 3 brothers Sincerely, John in Michigan
