    1. [WIGRANT] Marriage Record Indexes?
    2. Kin Detect
    3. Hi Group: Which (1835-1900; & pre 1907) Grant County, WI marriage index(es) list parents of couples, when known? Or are these only available in original records and marriage books? I'm debating whether to send for records, pending enlightenment on this, as I'm not sure the originals will help at all. Time to purchase some GCGS items. Also: If memory serves, Henry RISTER and Ann KITTOE's marriage (1856) is listed differently on some indexes, where his name may be spelled "Ristler" or "Risther." I may be referencing a web site, not knowing if this is just a human error/typo or if he's listed that way in the actual index. Can anyone help straighten me out? TIA! Kin-Detective (who's fed up w/AOL filtering, & getting list-bounced) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? My gg-grandfather Delos "Wilson" Gehr left Crawford County, Pennsylvania for Wisconsin (place unknown) to live with family that resided there. I have found an obituary in Crawford that states Delos died in "Wisconsin" but no where in particular. Does anyone have this gentleman in their files? I'm hoping he's the fellow I'm looking for - if not, he must be a relation somehow! Please email me at: kbrbkr@toolcity.net Thanks! Kathy B

    1. [WIGRANT] Dean/Ivens
    2. My grandmother, Mary Priscilla Ivens was born in Grant Countyon March 15, 1895. Her parents were Charles W. Ivens and Lucy A. Collins. She had the following sisters - all born in Grant County: Myrtle b. 2/23/90, Bertha b. 6/14/93, Florence b. 2/10/02, Roxy, and Lottie b. 11/5/88. There may have been a brother. Charles Ivens was born around 1870. He is listed as two months old on the 1870 Grant County Census. His father was John D. Ivens b. Feb. 24, 1836 in England. He married Keziah C. Moore on November 5, 1858. Their children were George E., Mary P., and Charles W. I think that John D. Ivens was the son of Edmund Ivens and Priscilla Dean who were married in England about 1830. Do you have any information about these people? Priscilla Dean

My GGrandfather was Joseph Kral, who married Rosa Talasch. They were both born in Bohemia, and I don't have a wedding date for them. He had the daughter they called Mary. But she was a Kral......GGrandpa had a son he named Joseph E. Kral, who married Bertha Isabelle Sabinsonon February 24, 1903. Joesph E. Kral had a son named Joseph Kral. Joseph Kral married and then divorced, his wife having moved to Texas. Does any of this sound familiar? Also, all the children of GGrandpa changed their name Kral to the English translation when they reached adulthood. I've never heard a reason why they did this.... Mari
