Does anyone know what happened to Charles or Charlie Ivens. He was married to Lucy Collins in Grant Co. They had many children including my grandmother, Mary Priscilla Ivens. N. LIGHTFOOT The death of John N. Lightfoot occurred on Friday evening at 7:40 o'clock at Mercy Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Lightfoot was born in Potosi, Wis., on Nov. 1, 1841, and resided there until seven years ago when he moved to East Dubuque. Three years ago he came to this city [Dubuque] with his family to make his home. His health had been failing for the past five years due to the infirmities of age. Mr. Lightfoot leaves to mourn his passing his wife; three daughters: Mrs. Lavina Schroeder, Potosi, Wis.; Mrs. Ida Bruno, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Richard Meggenberg, this city [Dubuque], and Lafayette and Charles, of this city [Dubuque]. The funeral will take place from the family residence, corner of Levee and Jones streets, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock and interment will be made at Potosi. Burial will be made in the cemetery in British Hollow, Wis. Mrs. Lightfoot resided at 372 Iowa street and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alvina Schroeder, Potosi; Mrs. Ida Bruno, Maplewood, Mo., and Mrs. Rose Meggenburg, this city; two sons, Charles and W. L. Lightfoot, both of Dubuque; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers. Her husband, John Lightfoot, preceded her in death. Mrs. Lighfoot was born in Cleveland Sept. 24, 1850, and had made her home in this city [Dubuque] for many years.

Deanna, Was Violet married before or after 1920? I could check that 1920 census out if you believe she would be in Gurley's household. If she was married in 1920, what was her husband's full name? Might find Violet & Gurley in the same city. I'm at work right now, but believe you send Violet's birthdate with a couple of possible years. I tried searching both date in the Ancestry.Com pre-1907 WI birth index and came up blank. Nothing just using Violet Eastman either.
