I know there has to be some kind of process or way to select a coordinator but I hope it doesn't become so strict that it leaves someone who may do a very great job is not given the opportunity. With the present recommended quidelines - I would most likely not be selected as a county coordinator as when I first became I knew nothing about websites, had no previous experience in any GenWeb Project, and do not live in the county I am the cc for (but do alot of reserach there and live close) but I did have the time and willingness to learn and I think I have done a decent job and I keep learning and trying.
