Fond du Lac county GenWeb has added an 1896 map of the civil war to it's website. It was donated to the site by a Fond du Lac family, who had kept the map because a family member was in the campaign. Handwriting on the map indicates that it was created for a lecture on Gettysburg, given March 18th, 1897 by Gen. Briant (Dean of University of Wisconsin) There are two parts to the map: 1 map is labeled "Potomac Campaigns of the Third Wisconsin Vol. Infantry The 2nd map is the Battlefield of Gettysburg, Showing the Movements of the 12th Army Corps.
