I bought an old scrapbook on ebay because it had some things I wanted from Oshkosh, but going thru it most of the stuff is from Ripon, Brandon, Alto, Mentonen or some such, towns I haven't heard of. Was going to type the obits up and send them to the WI Archives, but many of them don't have dates. I'm assuming it originally belonged to an Addie E. Wood who dated it December 25, 1884, then obviously someone added to it over the years. So......... what do I do with them? Throw them out? Or is there somewhere to put them? Trying to clean off my computer desks and 40 piles I have in this office and hoped to toss the raggedy thing with loads of poetry out after I finished with it, saving the dated obits of course, so if a family member wanted them. Any ideas? Jan
Jan, those are all Fond du Lac county towns (right over the border from Winnebago County, so maybe a posting there would help it find its way to the proper home?
