Isn't there a saying One man's junk - another man's gold mine (grin) - Instead of throwing out "old records" or not dated information, why not donate it to the local library or genealogical society - most of them will place it on microfishe - or in folders - or pass it to the family members upon request - or stick it in a box until someone stumbles upon it - for some people without internet access - a paper trail - no matter how small - is the only way they will find the info. Fortunately for me, Juneau Co, WI did this for cut out obituary scrap books donated by several indiviual families - while some did not have dates - the information was still sound. Joan Benner and I found some great leds.... Just my thoughts.
