Some how I missed out on the new logo part. Where is it? Can I view it now so that I will know what basic color, (or possibly remove all color), I need to add to my pages. That way I can begin removing all my muted backgrounds. The objective here is plain Jane - am I correct. Removing all personality from the site so that we are all alike. Thanks. Jan
At the moment, there is one logo and it is at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wigenweb/graphics.html. Debbie is working on different sizes, and colors so they should match fairly closely to whatever it was you were previously using. If this particular color and size is unsuitable, I would hold off updating your page until the alternate colors/sizes are available. As for changing your background to make your pages "plain Jane" or "just like everybody elses" -- absolutely not! From the way I interpret all of this, Debbie and Kelly are planning on making logos of colors that will compliment the backgrounds that we already have. I have no plans of changing any of my backgrounds or page designs. The only thing that will be similar on our pages is the logos -- and those will be in varying colors. We are not going to be "clones" of any other pages -- only by our choice! -- Nance mailto:nsampson@spacestar.net
I have accidently killed the logo Debbie actually submitted for the vote --copied over it. We'll get that one up in a bit here, so there will be two logos to start with. There is the one Debbie graciously matched for the WIGenWeb page at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wigenweb/graphics.html Kelly > Jan, > > The logos that we voted on (part of Motion # 00002) are located at: > http://www.rootsweb.com/~wigenweb/logo-sub.html > > And the logo that won is #2 on that page. > > As for changing your background to make your pages "plain Jane" > or "just like > everybody elses" -- absolutely not!
