The complete 157 Waupaca County biogrphies have been posted to the website at http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/WaupacaBios Most of these bios detail the many places these subjects had lived before coming to WI before 1881. Many of them give dates, marriages, spouses names and birth dates/places, check them out and see if you ancestor is there. Even if your ancestor isn't the main subject of one of the bios-he or she may be mentioned within someone else's bio. Also for the County Coordinators that have not seen or used this book. It is GREAT. This book is divided by county into each county's townships, etc. It gives a short history of the township/area and then usuually following the history are biographies of some of the people living in that township. I do not have the book or else I would list the counties it covers. (I photo copied the pages I needed.) But you most likely could get this book through inter-library loan. The name again is "History of Northern Wisconsin" and it was published by Chicago: Western Historical Company in 1881 Hope you find your ancestor here!
