I personally have tried very hard not to put any info online that pertains to living people. I am also working very closely with the Washburn Co. Register of Deeds, who is allowing me to put the indexes of the births, marriages and deaths online, directly from her books. I made that above statement to her and she looked puzzled and asked why I would worry about such a thing, since anyone could walk into her office and view that same information -- it is public record and as such, she felt that it would be okay for me to put all of the indices online.
