My thanks to all of you for your help and advice on the Peloquin researcher. I did do some research before asking my question yesterday. By searching in the USGenWeb Archives, I did find some Peloquin families in the land records for Chippewa Co. And by searching through the pre-1907 Wisconsin Death Index on Ancestry.com, I found there were Peloquin's in other counties of the state, but none in any of the five counties that I covered. This is why I was so confused -- I couldn't figure out if he was trying to pinpoint one county, or what? I also had suspicions that he might have contacted other county coordinators too. Anyway, just wanted you all to know that I appreciate your help, and that I think it's great to have you all to lean on. Hopefully I can be of help to some of you in the future too.
