Hi All, I was asked this year to judge the books for the WHS Book of the year... 17 books. All were great and it has been fun. There is one book I want to point folks to. I don't know which book is the winner, as there are 6 separate areas of evaluation for each book and 3 of us doing this. However there is a book that I found just fascinating Women's Wisconsin - From Native Matriarchies to the New Millennium http://shop.wisconsinhistory.org/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=14&idpr oduct=359 It is 'First Person History' with a stunning level of documentation to go with it...
