Hi, Jan....... I was real excited about this till I saw what's done. If I understand correctly, a person has to enter the letters into the box before they are able to use the email address on the site? If so, then this isn't very user friendly to the low vision and blind people....one of which I am. I belong to a blind-knitters mailing list. Yes, blind-knitters! You'd be amazed at their expertise!! It's mind boggling. Problem is, when confronted with the jumbled letter verification technique, they are left out of it. Obviously they can't see the letters, and their software that they use to convert the web pages into Braille can't read it either. So, unless their spouse, or someone in the household is sighted, they aren't able to participate. I don't know how many blind genealogists there are "out there", but there are many, many seniors, who I'm sure don't see as well as they used to...including me. I've campaigned in IAGen to make the pages user friendly to all...including those with visual problems, I would hope that WIGen would follow the same road..... Mari, If you will read the instructions - there are two ways of doing this - with and without typing letters into the box. THOSE LETTERS ARE NOT REQUIRED ON MIGENWEB EMAILS. I am truly sorry that you think so badly of me. Must be I have earned it. <sigh> I'll try not to make any more suggestions here. My apologies to everyone for sending the email. My apologies Mari...... I guess I haven't realized yet that I cannot say anything on WIGEN- without it being taken the wrong way. God, I must be a horrid person...... I really think its time for me to reassess my priorities and maybe completely removing myself from USGenWeb is the route to take. I'll be thinking that over for a few weeks while I stay away from this computer. I have cried over this this morning until I am sick and I NEVER ever want to have to repeat this again. Jan, I think you are taking this way to personally. I didn't get the impression that Mari was attacking you or telling you she didn't want to hear your ideas. She was bringing concerns about visually impaired people. Perhaps all it would have needed was to point out that it could be done either way. Mari did say she is sight impaired, perhaps she didn't see that it could be done two ways. Don't take this so much to heart, we have all stopped attacking each other, I hope you have a better day, Debie Blindauer Calumet & Sheboygan Counties At 12:59 PM 1/27/2006, you wrote: >My apologies Mari......
