    3. Lori, Congratulations!!!!! You should be recognized for everything you have done and contributed to Rock County, both on the internet and off. I believe that your words will make people stop and realize the importance of the history and how soon it can just vanish. You go girl, you are truly awesome for all you have done and in my opinion, you truly deserve to be recognized for your work and contributions. 2. Lori Niemuth
    3. Things are always a bit nuts down here but two weeks ago things went beyond nuts. Rock County's largest & oldest local newspaper called me for some information regarding a few of our cemeteries and next thing I know... this happened... <http://freepages.books.rootsweb.com/~wirockbios/Newspapers/JGaz/JGaz200602.html> Following that, I've been inundated with comments and queries regarding Rock's cemeteries and history. I've also been to several local government meetings regarding my work and ended up being asked to assist with the Planning & Development Agency's county mapping project due in 2010 (I'm involved in mapping historical sites, cemeteries, old school houses, town halls, original settler homes, etc.). It's odd and it's an honor and I'm still not used to all the attention. I'm used to sitting in my old house at my old computer and wasting hours on end putting up data "anonymously" because few knew what I looked like. So, I guess I'm also a little miffed at being "outed" <grin> Anyhow, I told Tina and she said, "Tell the crew," so... done. Lori in Rock

    3. Paula, I have found this, now I will try to figure out how to give you a hand fixing it. If it is alright with you, I am going to move this to private e-mail between you and I, ok? Debie Q) I've received one or more "Blocking call cancelled" messages and the file transfer is incomplete. You can try selecting Passive transfers on the Advanced tab of Site Properties. If that doesn't help and you are using the Microsoft TCP/IP stack (which is part of the Windows 95 and NT operating systems), try setting the Maximum Transfer Unit (MTU) to 576.) 3. Paula, No problem, I hope I can find the answers to be able to help. I can be of assistance with the password thing though. I need to dig around and find the exact url, but Rootsweb will help you by sending the password to you, if you contact them and ask, it has happened to me before. I will look for the url in a minute for you. I have found two different websites and other than it seeming that something glitched in your program, I am not finding the exact error message you receive. That is what I am trying to locate now so I can find the answer and tell you what to do to fix it. Here's the url, scan down and it gives you a box to click to get the password you need. http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ Ok, Back to looking for the solution to the error message, Debie Debie Blindauer Calumet & Sheboygan Counties At 02:36 PM 3/2/2006, you wrote: >Thanks alot Debie. 3. Ouch, I use WS_FTP32. Let me search the internet and see what I can find to help you. I know how the 32 program works and hopefully it has close ties so I can try to figure the difference out and be able to give you some hints or help you figure this out. Hang in there, I will get back to you unless someone else can help, Debie Blindauer Calumet & Sheboygan Counties At 02:19 PM 3/2/2006, you wrote: >WS_FTP95 LE is what come up when I open the program. > >Paula >Waupaca County Coordinator >WIGenWeb Project >http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwaupac/index.htm > >>From: Debie & Joe <sebring@excel.net> >>Reply-To: WIGEN-L@rootsweb.com >>To: WIGEN-L@rootsweb.com >>Subject: Re: [WIGEN-L] Help needed >>Date: Thu, 02 Mar 2006 14:13:58 -0600 >> >>Paula, >> >> What FTP program are you using? >> >> Debie Blindauer >> >> Calumet & Sheboygan Counties >> >> >>At 02:10 PM 3/2/2006, you wrote: >>>Hi Tina and everyone - >>> >>>I have not been able to upload anything to the Waupaca Website for >>>two or three days now. 3. Baby Trevor is 21'' long, and he has just a bit of fuzz/hair, which grandma is hoping will still turn red. Mom had a pretty difficult time, because of his 8lbs 13oz, and was in labor for 13 hours. They had to induce because he was so overdue, and didn't want to arrive. But now mom is doing ok, and with a little assist, should get rested up a bit. Dad is as happy as can be. He has 2 daughters and now a son. He really is cute as a button. They are giving him antibiotics just as a precaution, because of the difficult birth, but he arrived safe and sound last night, and grandma had a hard time going to work today and not calling in sick, just to spend the day at the nursery!!!!!
