    1. [WIGEN-L] New addition to the WIGenWeb Project
    2. Hi everyone! Tonight I am announcing a new addition to the WIGenWeb Project. The BMD (Births, Marriages, & Deaths) Project for Wisconsin! The BMD Project was developed by Marceline Beem, Elizabeth Harris, and Elizabeth Ross. This project allows for birth, marriage and death records to be submitted by our visitors. The aim of the project is to allow visitors to submit data from family Bibles, church records, and other sources that aren't readily available as public records, as well as those that are available publicly. Wisconsin's pages are available at http://tn-3.rootsweb.com/~marce/bmd/search.cgi, and then double following the Wisconsin link. I hope you all explore and use this new added resource. My thanks to Marceline, Elizabeth and Elizabeth for making it available to the WIGenWeb Project. Tina

A long, long time ago, I used to be able to do about 100 wpm, now I can come close, but then I have to back up and correct the millions of typos that I've made -- one word forward two words back. :~) But at least we're having fun, right? -- Nance mailto:nsampson@spacestar.net

    2. Anne Kasuboski
    3. Gee, lots of these requests sound like many I filter through daily--Green Lake County does not officially seem to have an official government/chamber of commerce web site, and being a popular tourist destination, I routinely get things like: What's the best campground? Where is the Amish auction being held this Saturday? Does (fill in the blank) have an indoor or outdoor swimming pool? Give me the addresses and phone numbers of all the realtors in (fill in the blank) What is the best local ISP in (fill in the blank) while I am there this summer? I am sure requests for hotel reservations will be coming soon! Makes me think I should start a travel agency. Anne Kasuboski
