    3. WI SC & CCs, It is not easy for me to type this, however it is something I feel is needed. Due to health and family matters, I have been unable to do justice to the position of Co-CC of Rock county. I have lost all sight in one eye and average about only 70% in the other eye. This has meant very little computer work and or reading. Which is mainly what a CC has to do. I feel that it would be better to resign than make the Rock County Genealogy suffer for another day. I will miss it more then some will realize and I hope that all will understand. I will be surrendering the URL and password to the SC as soon as I can, before the end of August. I would like to thank each and every one of you for helping me and my Co-CC and I wish you all well. JT Kelley Co-CC Rock County WI Hi Everyone Connie here, JT and I have talked alot about this and as of right now, I do not have the time to keep up with both my Pepin County site and the Rock County site so I also am stepping down from my Co-CC position with JT we have the site up and going but things have just become so hectic and for now we each feel we are doing the right thing by steping down to let someone else run it and give it all the attention it needs! Connie/ CJ Thanks everyone The other Co-CC Rock County, Wi

    3. OK, I know I haven't been very chatty lately, but it isn't as if I died, only retired (grin)... And starting tomorrow, I am moving 12 miles up the road, and my computer will be down sometime this week, I think, until the new home on the 25th which won't have furniture, only connections by then... HA HA HA. I am hoping to be fully operational by 1 Sep 00, and then go into recluse to write my dissertation which is long overdue.... So, I will continue to try to keep up, but, am doing the minimums for awhile... HUM, that will be interesting. 2. Paula Vaughan
    3. The following items have been added to the Waupaca Genealogy Site this week: 14 new biographies - http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/WaupacaBios A photo of the Wisconsin Veterans Home Memorial Cemetery and 23 photos of headstones from this cemetery - http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwaupac/Cemmisc/waupcem.htm#FARMINGTON The Family and Folk Fotos pages have been redone with 11 new fotos added - http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwaupac/FamilyandFolk/WaupFolk.htm I am looking for volunteers to help by transcribing biographies to the website. No special programs are needed, just able to type the information right onto the biography page. Maria Johnson of Yuma, AZ is helping, but we have hundreds of biographies to put on the site and this process will go much faster with your help. If you can help please email me directly at pajolova@hotmail.com for information on how to help. Have a great week and happy hunting! Babcock of Augusta ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/wi/eauclaire/obituaries/babcockr.txt +++++++ Other stuff -- It's been a pretty good week! I even got some new web pages uploaded to one of the county sites, including 2 cemeteries (Laaland/Johnson Cemetery and Collingwood Cemetery) for Barron Co. < http://www.rootsweb.com/~wibarron/cemeteries.htm > I also started up a new section on the Barron Co. pages under the heading of "Family Histories." <http://www.rootsweb.com/~wibarron/familyhistories.htm> Here I will be adding, of course, family histories of people of Barron Co., and will be including photos with each, if they are available. So far, I only have one history online -- that of the Matt Arnes family of Barronett, but there will be many more added over the coming months. Now I'm gonna see what I can round up for next week... Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! -- Nance mailto:nsampson@spacestar.net
